MA in Development Management is an initiative of the IEE (Institute of Development Research and Development Policy) since mid-2000 at the Ruhr-University in Bochum. Since May 2002, the Institute has also offered this program at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa. This program was originally part of the DAAD initiative and is now part of the DAAD-funded “South African – German Centre for Development Research.”

The Political Science and Public Administration major includes a diverse curriculum in the disciplinary subfields of International Relations, Comparative Politics, and Afghanistan Government and Politics, as well as an overview of Public Administration, all of which are designed to prepare students to understand and evaluate politics.

4) Business

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration offers four concentrations: Accounting, Finance, Management, and Marketing. Students will gain an understanding of the key concepts of innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability that drive global demand for management, while learning quantitative and qualitative analysis, critical thinking, and presentation skills.

Application Evaluation Stages

Generally, there are two stages after application submission at UST: Document Screening and In-depth Interviews.

Document Screening Stage:

• Evaluation Criteria: In this step, applicants will pass the growth potential, research capacity, the relevance of their work experience, research achievements, and foreign language proficiency.
• Method of Evaluation: The evaluation committee will review application documents for each major for each school to determine the degree to which they have the qualities UST desires.

In-Depth Interviews:

• Evaluation Criteria: This step will consider the applicants’ ability to conduct research in the selected major, enthusiasm for their studies and research, successful presentations and experiment completion, major-related knowledge, growth potential, including applicants’ statement of purpose evaluations, research proposal, post-graduation career plan, and personal character and aptitude.
• Method of Evaluation: Applicants will receive individual notifications for their interview method, venue, and other information. Evaluation committees for each school’s major will review and evaluate candidates’ capability as per the UST’s desired applicant qualities and evaluation criteria.

The primary goal of this call is to understand youth issues with nuance and complexity further and, importantly, position young people as the best suited for political research participation. Such initiative will help young people to affect themselves and their peers.

The Young Researchers’ Network initiative gathers a diverse group of international democracy support practitioners and young scholars to foster cross-regional and disciplinary exchanges on youth participation in democracies worldwide.

By participating in this program, the selected researchers will undertake a three-year program with the support of the Youth Democracy Cohort. They will have exchange and learning opportunities from researchers and experts on Youth Participation, Democracy, and Civic Engagement.

The program expects regular meetings and tutor support to check with participants how their research and data analysis is going. The program also contains if the participants need help from their peers.

Furthermore, the participants will have online training sessions on research methodologies, paper drafting, data collection, and recurring webinars on interesting topics for young researchers.

Finally, the initiative will end with the publication of 12 case studies of 3000 words each written by young researchers. The organizers will collect the case studies into a flagship global youth political participation report. The OWM aims to bring together 16 filmmakers selected from a global call to attend an intensive online training program, one-to-one pitch meetings, and connect with digital media platforms. Participants will benefit from four weeks of masterclasses, workshops, and mentoring.

This is brought to the attention of Russian Federation Scholarship Bachelor’s and Specialist Degree applicants that the competitive examination for the 2021-2021 round will be held online on 24 and 25 of May 2021.

As per the instruction sent by email to the participants of the Russian Science and Culture Center in Afghanistan, the exam timing and reception time have been mentioned in the email and the link sent through email will be active only within the specified dates.

To be prepared and able to take the test properly and in an appropriate manner, you should consider taking preparation in advance.

For this reason, the technical requirements for the test taker’s laptop are as follows:

• Having an external camera (separate) with the clarity of at least 0.5 megapixel and photography speed of 25 frames/second
• Having a performance microphone (can be installed on PC or externally connected to the computer, etc.)
• Having a computer with a stable internet connection (without any pause during the exam). The recommended internet bandwidth speed is 1 MB/browser.
• Having browser (Google Chrome 70 +).

Note: using the latest version of the browser during the test is recommended. Also, it is recommended that avoid using unnecessary software such as antivirus, firewall, ad blocker, and other additional apps in order to prevent disturbance.

Please keep in mind that taking part in this competitive examination (preliminary competition) is not possible via mobile or tablet, therefore having a laptop is mandatory and applicants without a computer will not be permitted to take the test.

Scholarship for Afghanistan congratulates all Afghan Students who have successfully passed the Allamah Iqbal Scholarship exam and will start their studies in Pakistan Soon.

This year over 22000 applicants have applied to Pakistan Allama Iqbal Scholarships. The exam was held in February 2021 by four consulates of Pakistan in Afghanistan and from this number 1150 students will start their studies in Pakistan.

The Republic of Tajikistan has announced the award of 50 scholarships for undergraduate degrees to 12th-grade graduate students for the 2021-22 academic year.

According to the ministry of higher education of Afghanistan, these scholarships are offered to high school graduate of 1397-1400 who has obtained at least 70 percent grade points.

Applicants must carefully study the following conditions before registering for Tajikistan Scholarships and register after getting complete information:

1. All 2021-2022 academic year scholarships are for the bachelor’s degree.
2. The above-mentioned scholarships, as in the past year, have been divided in various cities of Tajikistan.
3. Tajikistan scholarships is not a “full scholarship”, only university fees are exempted, and about 90 percent of the cost (dormitory, travel expenses, health insurance, etc.) must be paid by the student.
4. Applicants may choose their field and university which is listed in the appendix, based on the percentage of their three-year high school scores.
5. All universities of Tajikistan are not in Dushanbe. Applicants must carefully select the universities and cities to avoid problems in the future.
6. The distance between Dushanbe and Khujand is more than 300 km, while other cities are also distant from Dushanbe.
7. Students at the Tajikistan Technical University named M. Assimi and Tajikistan State Medical University named Abu-Ali Ibn-Sina must pass a preparation course for the Cyrillic alphabet and the Russian language before the beginning of their first year of study. Students will be paying for their preparatory course themselves and all universities would ask for the course costs.
8. Tajikistan scholarship candidates should know this before registering that except for the annual fee of the university, the rest of the expenses, visa, travel cost, dormitory and etc. must be paid by themselves.
9. The student’s allowance is usually paid every six months.
10. Applicants who want to travel to Tajikistan to continue their studies, their families must be able to pay a minimum of $200 per month.
11. All scholars may approve their educational documents in the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan upon arrival. It costs about $200, which must be paid by the students.
12. Accepted candidates should renew their visa as soon as possible.
13. The scholarship recipients should not travel to Tajikistan without prior knowledge and coordination of the embassy of the Islamic Republic, located at Dushanbe.
14. When the list of the scholarship recipients is available to the Embassy, ​​they will be sent to the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan after translation through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Ministry of Education and Science of the country, after review and coordination, confirms the list and states its readiness for admitting the students. The issuance of confirmation of the list is being sent to the Cultural Relations Directorate of Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After confirming the exact dates of the students’ travel to Tajikistan, they can travel to this country.
15. The family name of the scholarship recipients must be the same in the list, passport and other necessary documents.

Host cities’ responsibilities

The selected Global Host City will assume responsibility for the organization and all costs of the Programme of Activities, under the observation of and in close cooperation with UNESCO and UNESCO’s partner, the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz, an (NGO) that supervises the whole planning, production, and coordination of the Programme of Activities.

The Programme of Activities includes two parts:

About the NEET Exam: 

The NEET exam is divided in  the following two types:

NEET – UG: Is required to get admission for undergraduate studies and contains the basic concept of Physics, Chemistry and Biology taught in eleventh and twelfth grade of high school. this exam is organized once every two years by National Testing Agency (NTA). NEET includes 180 questions:

According to NEET UG manuals, each correct question has 4 score and each incorrect question hold one negative score.

NEET – PG: This exam is required to get admission in the master or PhD program and organized by India National Board of examinations and contains the subjects determined by MCI (medical council of India).Based on the specialization, includes the subjects such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, general medicine, women, children, ….

this exam is a computer-based exam that includes 300 questions in 210 minutes.

According to the above-mentioned decision of MCI applicants interested in studying medical fields and dental science in India should apply for NEET exam and can get admission after obtaining the success score in NEET.
