Islamic Development Bank(IsDB) and Türkiye Scholarships offer a joint Scholarship program to international students from all IsDB Member Countries and Muslim Communities around the globe to study their bachelor’s, Master or PhD on fully funded scholarships in the most prestigious universities in Turkey.

Benefits of the program:
The IsDB Turkey Scholarship programs cover the following expenses:
- Turkish Language Course (1 year )
- University and Program Placement

- Tuition fee (equivalent to the following amount in Turkish lira):
- $350 for Associate and Undergraduate students
- $375 for master
- $400 for PhD
- Accommodation support

Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor Degree Applicants should not be over the age of 21
- Master’s Applicants should be 30 years old, and PhD applicants should be 35 years old.
- Those who are already registered in Turkish Universities are ineligible to apply for the joint scholarship program.
- Accommodation is included in the monthly stipend. Therefore, the student should pay the accommodation fee from their monthly allowance.
- Applicants should have a C1 level of Turkish Language. Those who do not have a C1 Level of Turkish Language should attend a one-year Turkish preparatory course in order to obtain C1 Turkish language proficiency. You should check the language of instruction and other test scores when selecting the programs in the application.
- The fields of study should be in line with sustainable development goals.
- Candidates should be in good health and not have any chronic diseases.
For associate degrees and bachelor’s degrees, the scholarship is an interest-free loan (Qard-Hasan) to the students and a grant to the LDMCs to which they belong (since repayment is not made to lsDB but to a local trust). The associate degree and bachelor degree students are required to repay the loan after graduation and employment, in easy installments, to the lsDB Education Trust (IET), a Waqf set up (or to be set up) in the students’ countries.

How do I apply for the IsDB-Turkey Scholarship?
Potential applicants for the IsDB-Turkiye Scholarship can submit an online application via the Türkiye Scholarships website linked below. You can apply in any of the following eight languages:

Note: You do not need to submit a separate application to the university to get university admission. If you are selected for the IsDB—YTB scholarship, you will also receive university admission.
