About the scholarship

According to the Afghan Ministry of Higher Education, Sebelos Maret University of Indonesia awards 21 scholarships to Afghan students who would like to pursue their bachelor’s degree in Indonesia. As part of this process, the university has invited the ministry to introduce Afghan students for applying to this scholarship.

Eligibility conditions

• Not be an Indonesian citizen
• Should have high school diploma & transcript
• Applicants’ average grade percentage should not be less than 70%;
• Have a copy of the passport that is valid at least for two years;
• Have the high school graduation document certified by Ministries of Higher Education and Foreign Affairs in English language or translated into English;
• Not be over the age of 25 to be eligible;

Note: after completing the online application, applicants should visit the Ministry of Higher Education, along with a copy of their educational documents to receive other necessary forms, fill in them and submit them back to MoHE and proceed with the next steps of the application. The deadline to submit the documents back is 15 July 2021.
