Launched in 2019 by the Ministry of External Affairs of the Indian Government, in collaboration with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), the e-VB project supports Afghan students in pursuing online undergraduate and postgraduate programs at Indian universities.

Benefits

The ICCR scholarship will cover the following items:

  • Complete coverage of tuition fee, admission fee, exam fee, registration fee, re-examination fee, and award of degree charges.
  • Direct disbursement of scholarship funds to Indian universities.
  • Online learning through advanced Learning Management Systems (LMS) with e-tutorials, e-content, virtual labs, and proctored online exams.
  • Degrees awarded online, with physical copies provided via the Indian Mission in Kabul.

Eligibility Criteria 

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Applicants must be nationals of Afghanistan, residing anywhere in the world.
  • Age limit is 18–35 years as of July 1 of the academic year.
  • Must hold the required academic qualification for the chosen program.
  • Applicants should have a good command of English, as the medium of instruction is English.
  • Must not already be enrolled in another e-VB scholarship program.
