About the fellowship
The Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS) has announced the opening of PACIFIC Program Call I of the postdoctoral fellowships. The academy offers 35 fellowships to researchers to carry out their research projects in one of the PAS Institutes in Poland. Hence, applicants from all over the world are welcome to apply for this outstanding opportunity and experience research work at one of the leading European institutions.

Benefits
The fellowship program includes benefits as follows:
- A monthly allowance of up to € 2500 net and a family stipend (if applicable)
- In addition, PACIFIC fellows will be awarded research grants of nearly € 93,000 ((€60,000 direct costs and 20% indirect costs).
Eligibilities
- Scholars and researchers with the nationality of any country, representing all research disciplines are eligible to apply for PASIFIC Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme.
- Applicants must possess a doctoral degree or have at least 4-year corresponding full-time demonstrable research experience to receive this fellowship.
- Also, candidates must have not resided or worked in Poland for more than 12 months within the last three years before the current Call deadline.
- Applicants should have an excellent command of the English language.
Selection process
Prior to applying, you need to find a host institute under the auspices of PAS and also a supervisor who agrees to support your research. Once the institute and supervisor agree to facilitate your research, you should apply for a letter of support signed by both the director of the host PAS’s institute and the supervisor.
