About the scholarship

According to the announcement released by the Afghan Ministry of Higher Education, Universitas Islam Malang (UNISMA) of Indonesia awards 4 scholarships to Afghan students to study for their bachelor degree in Indonesia. As part of this process, the university has invited the ministry to introduce Afghan students for applying to this scholarship.

This scholarship provides:

• Tuition fees
• Enrolment fee
• Accommodation cost
• Insurance costs
• Language course fees

Note: travel costs should be borne by the applicants themselves.

Eligibility conditions

Applicants should meet the following conditions to be eligible:

• Not be an Indonesian citizen
• Should have high school diploma and transcript
• Applicants’ high school grade percentage should not be less than 70%;
• Have a passport that is valid at least for two years;
• Have the high school graduation document certified by Ministries of Higher Education and Foreign Affairs in English language or translated into English;
• Not be over the age of 25 to be eligible;

Note: After completing the online application, applicants should visit the Ministry of Higher Education, along with a copy of their high school documents to receive other necessary forms, fill in them and submit them back and proceed with the next steps of the application.
