Through this specialization, you will learn vital leadership skills, including how to inspire and motivate people, manage talent, influence without power, and lead teams. Here, you will not only learn from Michigan faculty but will also learn directly from outstanding leaders, including Jeff Brodsky, Global Head of HR for Morgan Stanley, and John Beilein, Head Coach of the University of Michigan Men’s Basketball Team.

In addition, instructors will share with you their research on how to lead people and teams successfully, and work with you to apply these insights to your own teams and leadership. Meanwhile, in any of the courses, you will have a chance to apply new leadership skills by walking through a series of practical leadership assignments. Besides, the capstone will allow you to work on live leadership challenges confronted by senior leaders from premier Fortune 500 firms and get their feedback on your ideas and solutions.
