Benefits
- Applicants who demonstrate high academic background will receive the Kyoto University of Advanced Science (KUAS) scholarship based on which they receive a scholarship to KUAS.
Scholarships:
There are several scholarships offered at this university:
Super KUAS-E Scholarship:
This scholarship covers the following:
- Stipend (for personal expenses) 1,200,000 JPY/year
- Tuition exemption (100%)**
- Admission fee exemption (100%)
Note: While at KUAS, scholarship recipients will undergo a performance review each semester. Students who fail to meet the basic requirements will be withdrawn from the scholarship program.
JASSO Honors Scholarship for Privately-Financed International Students in Japan:
- this scholarship offers monthly stipend of 48000 yen for selected students.
Other applicants must ensure to have sufficient funds to sponsor their studies in Japan before they apply.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must meet the two primary academic entry requirements in order to be eligible for the program:
- They will need to have completed standard 12-year school education, or an education equivalent to that (equivalent to Japanese senior high school, the International Baccalaureate, or like of it).
- And, must meet the minimum score of the level of English proficiency.
- Applicants are exempted from demonstrating English proficiency if they are from a native-English speaking country or have completed their official education in English for the most recent 6 years.
- Students who have completed the IB Diploma in English are also excluded from English proficiency proof.
- Applicants must have comprehensive understanding of Mathematics ( and physics
