In that case, you can apply for the Helmut Veith Stipend. This stipend is awarded annually in memory of Professor Helmut Veith (1971-2016), who worked in the fields of logic in Computer Science, Computer-aided verification, and software engineering.

Who can apply for the Veith Stipend?

Applicants who meet the following criteria can apply for the Veith Stipend:

• Female students interested and eligible for one of the master’s degrees in computer science mentioned above.
• Obtained a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Mathematics (Bologna first cycle) or equivalent
• have mathematical and technical knowledge and interest in the following research areas:

• • Logic in Computer Science
  • Formal Methods and Verification
  • Foundations of Artificial Intelligence
  • Algorithms and Complexity Theory
  • Computer Security

• Be proficient in the English language.
•  Funding will only be available to applicants unconditionally admitted to the master’s program.
