Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC) accepts applications for the DAAD scholarship program for the Developments-Related Postgraduate Courses. This scholarship is an excellent opportunity for applicants from developing countries to study for their master’s or PhD in Germany.
If you want to study Intellectual Property and Competition Law at the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC) in Germany, you have come to the right opportunity. The scholarship will cover all your costs for your master’s or Ph.D. degree in Germany. Read the details and apply before 15 October of the following year.
The MIPLC also offers tuition fee waiver scholarships. If you want to study with no tuition fee, apply for the tuition fee waiver scholarship before April 30, 2024.
MIPLC DAAD Scholarship Details

Scholarship Value
DAAD offers fully funded scholarships for the selected applicants as follows:
- A monthly stipend of about 934 Euro and 1,300 euros for PhD applicants
- Medical, accident, and liability insurance.
- Traveling expenses
- Monthly rent subsidy
- Family member allowance
Note: Applicants should cover other personal costs.
Eligibilities
All candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Obtain a bachelor of four years or a bachelor’s degree of three years with a further degree.
- Must receive their degree no longer than six years before the scholarship application.
- At least one year of work experience with a public authority or state or private organization in one of the developing countries. (University staff and academics are not acceptable.) Work experience must start after university completion.
- Applicants from developing countries on the list can apply.
- Must meet the MIPLC language skills: B1 level of German Language, IELTS 6.5, IBT 85, CBT 213, or Cambridge C1 of 185 points
Required Documents
Applicants who want to study at MIPLC by DAAD Scholarship should prepare the following documents:
- DAAD application form with first, second, and third choice of courses.
- Letter of Motivation addressing selection criteria (max. two pages).
- CV in EUROPASS format.
- University Certificates with a certified translation if not in German or English.
- Transcript with an explanation of the grading system if not included.
- Work certificate(s) for relevant professional experience.
- Letter of recommendation from current employer.
- Proof of language skills in English and German (if required).

Step 2: A selection committee identifies potential candidates for a DAAD scholarship.
Step 3: DAAD contacts selected candidates to upload their complete application to the DAAD Portal.
Step 4: Finalize the selection process and notify candidates accordingly.
