Opportunity Description

About the International Media Studies Program:

This master program has been started in 2009; students from 75 countries are accepted in this program. This is a joint program of the University of Bonn, the Deutsche Welle (DW), and the Bonn-Rhein- Sieg University of Applied Sciences to provide the environment of media studies for students from developing countries. The program is taught in English and German languages. Students can apply for this program and get a scholarship covering tuition fees, traveling costs, and living expenses to study in Germany.

Requirement and eligibility

The applicant should :

  • Have a bachelor degree
  • prove His/her Language skill in both English and German. ( English: TOEFL iBT 83, IELTS 6.5, German: Test DaF at least level TDN 3 in all four-part. Goethe Zertifikat level B2, or DSH level 1)
  • One year of professional experience in a media-related field

  • Bachelor Degree certificates and transcripts
  • High School Diploma
  • Recommendation letter from a University ( with letterhead, official university stamp, signed and date).
  • Recommendation letter from your employer ( with letterhead, official university stamp, signed and date).
  • DAAD application form
  • English proficiency documents.
