Scholarships and financial aid are available to all shortlisted candidates.
Full Scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis to students from Central Asia (Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan). Depending on students’ financial situations, tuition fees can be subsidized or waived for meritorious students.
UCA heavily subsidizes its undergraduate education to ensure merit-based admission and broad access, with tuition fixed in local currency and averaging about US$5,000 per year—well below regional alternatives—and further reduced or waived based on financial need. Students benefit from a comprehensive residential experience, including housing, meals, laptops, health insurance, and campus facilities for roughly US$3,000 per year, which is also subsidy-eligible. Overall, UCA covers up to 95% of the total educational cost, with fees encompassing instruction, learning materials, accommodation, meals, health services, recreation, and campus amenities.
Eligibility:
Anyone from Central Asia and abroad can apply for admission. This university provides the facility for physically disabled students to study there.
Application Procedure
There are four stages in the UCA application procedure.
- Application submission: Submit the completed UCA stage 1 application form and supplementary documents (including application form, copy of government-issued photo ID/passport and a photograph on a white background taken in the last three months, and academic transcripts) to reach UCA no later than February 14th, 2026
You will receive an email including your application number, Test center, and time if your application is complete.

Required documents:
- A recently taken (in the last three months) Photo 3×4 cm in size (White background)
- Passport or Government Issued ID (Tazkira)
- Copy of the mark-sheet of grade 10 and 1st two quarters of grade 11 ( Central Asia students), mark-sheet of grade 11 and the first 2 quarters of grade 12 ( international students.
- Academic Transcripts for international students only
Stage II
Students who submit the Stage 1 application will be contacted by email and provided with an Application Number, along with details about the test centre and the scheduled date and time for the UCA Admissions Test or the SAT submission deadline. Applicants residing outside Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, or Kazakhstan will undergo an initial assessment, after which selected candidates will be invited to sit for the admissions test. Testing must take place strictly at the location indicated in the personal notification.
The examination carries a fee of $15.
Please bring the following items to the test centre:
- Your Application Number or the confirmation e-mail
- Your original passport or an official government-issued photo ID
There are tests in English and mathematics.
English
This standardized test has two parts: ESL Reading Skills, which assesses comprehension of short passages, and ESL Sentence Meaning, which evaluates understanding of English sentences. To be shortlisted, applicants must reach at least B1 for the preparatory programme or B2/C1 for direct entry, following CEFR standards.
Mathematics
The Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics test is a computer-adaptive assessment covering rational numbers, ratios, linear equations, probability, sets, and data interpretation. It measures computation, conceptual understanding, and applied problem-solving. All items are stand-alone multiple-choice questions.
Applicants can submit IELTS and/or TOEFL results instead of taking the English language test as follows:
IELTS. PP – 6 to 6.5, DE – 7 and higher;
TOEFL iBT. PP – 79-95, DE – 96 and higher;
TOEFL cBT. PP – 212-241, DE – 242 and higher;
TOEFL pBT, PP – 548-588, DE – 590 and higher;
Cambridge English Test. PP – B1, DE – C1.
And submit SAT scores instead of taking the exam.

Students submitting SAT results should use UCA’s code 7834 or send an official scanned/electronic score report by 7 March 2026 to admissions@ucentralasia.org , or deliver it in person/by mail to:
