How to Apply?

To apply for the TWAS-NCP Postdoctoral Fellowship, you must follow these steps:

  • The deadline for applications is July 1, 2024.
  • Applicants must submit an acceptance letter from NCP with their application or by the deadline at the latest. Until a preliminary acceptance is received, the application will not be considered for selection.
  • Only applications submitted online will be considered for the TWAS-NCP Postdoctoral Fellowship Program. A guide on how to use the online application form is available by clicking the link below.
  • It is important to note that candidates are limited to one application per calendar year for each program in the TWAS and OWSD portfolios. Applicants cannot enroll in another university during that year’s TWAS Visiting Professor program. One caveat is that the head of the institution may still apply for another program if the head requests an outside researcher to share their experience through the TWAS Visiting Professor programs.
