If so, the One Young World Fellowship for Programmes Fellow could be the perfect opportunity for you. As part of the One Young World organization, you’ll work with a diverse team, helping to empower young leaders worldwide by supporting critical global events and programs.

One Young World seeks three Program Fellows to support their One Young World 2025 plans in Munich. Each Fellow will be assigned to a department, building skills and experience while working with young leaders from diverse backgrounds, including social entrepreneurs, campaigners, tech innovators, and poets.

The Team You’ll Join

The Program team is central to One Young World’s mission to identify and support the world’s most impactful young leaders. They collaborate with governments, businesses, and nonprofits to develop programs that provide access to the One Young World Summit and support youth-led initiatives through funding, networking, and mentorship. Key programs include:

  • Lead2030: The world’s largest cash prize for young leaders tackling Sustainable Development Goals.
  • Enterprising Futures Scholarship: A major scholarship bringing peacebuilders under 30 to the Summit to build a lasting network
  • One Young World Entrepreneur of the Year Award: Recognizing young entrepreneurs under 35 who make a positive social impact

Eligibility Criteria

  • They are highly organized and have experience in complex admin tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Be a proactive team player who thrives under pressure and meets deadlines
  • Be confident and professional, comfortable speaking with new people.
  • Applicants must be proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Legal right to work in the UK, ideally within commuting distance to London or planning to relocate by January 2025.

Your Role as a Programmes Fellow

As a Programmes Fellow, you’ll help ensure that the brightest young leaders from across the globe can attend the One Young World Summit. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Promote One Young World’s programs to impactful young leaders globally by researching and engaging with top candidates.
  • Support the Programmes Team’s admissions process to ensure the best candidates are selected.
  • Provide logistical support to beneficiaries, including:
  • Assisting with visa applications and booking flights.
  • Coordinating accommodation with the housing team.
  • Responding to delegate and partner queries via email and calls.
  • Managing databases.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for delegates from over 190 countries during the Summit.
