Admission Criteria

The minimum entry requirements for the Ph.D. program are as follows:

• Applicants should have a 4-year Bachelor’s (with Second Upper Honour) Degree or equivalent.
• Provide Graduate Record Examinations (GRE): Total minimum score of 320 is a must for the GRE Verbal (V) and Quantitative (Q) sections, and at least a 3.5 score is necessary for the Analytical (A) section. In other words, V+Q= 320; A=3.5
• TOEFL or IELTS score if the medium of instruction at university is not English. TOEFL iBT: at least 85, IELTS: at least 6.
• Chinese language proficiency is advantageous because the Ph.D. student will conduct research at NUSRI in China for two years.
