The OSCE Academy in Kyrgyzstan offers 80 fully funded scholarships for students from the countries mentioned above to pursue their studies in Kyrgyzstan for the 2026-2028 academic year.

The MA Degrees are 18-month full-time programs beginning 1 September 2026. Before 1 September, all enrolled students must attend the preparatory Summer School, which will take place from 4 August to 29 August 2026. Students must travel and reside in Bishkek to attend their desired degree.

OSCE Academy in Bishkek is a public institution founded by the Kyrgyz government and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in 2002. Through post-graduate education, professional training, research, and intellectual interaction, the OSCE Academy promotes the OSCE’s principles and values.

Requirements and Eligibilities

MA Degree Scholarships of OSCE Academy applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Must be a Citizen of one of the following countries: Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, or Uzbekistan or OSCE participating states.
• Have obtained or are expected to complete a Bachelor’s Degree (Four-year BA degree, final year BA program, or Specialist Diploma) in a related field before starting the program.
• Advanced level of English Language Proficiency (at least 90 on the TOEFL or 6.5 on the IELTS)
