Opportunity Description
Japan’s Government to the Asian Development Bank (ADB) offered scholarships and funds for applicants from one of ADB’s developing member countries to pursue their higher degrees at the International University of Japan (IUJ). Applicants with academic records who plan to return to their home country after graduation may apply for this fully funded scholarship. Preference will be given to applicants with fewer financial resources and to female applicants.
Priority is given to applicants with limited financial resources and female candidates. The IUJ Admissions Committee nominates scholars to the ADB, taking into account the ADB’s request for diversity in nationalities. The ADB makes final decisions and selections, which are communicated to IUJ in July. IUJ subsequently notifies the candidates of the outcomes.
