Applications are open for the National University of Singapore’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) scholarships in 2026. Various organizations such as the Asian Development Bank, and the Japan Government fund the MBA program at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
Students with excellent educational backgrounds who want professional and leadership skills in the MBA are strongly encouraged to apply for the National University of Singapore MBA program.
Application for the August 2026 intake will open on 15 August 2025. To apply for the 2026 intake, please submit an application package including all required documentation and test scores by the deadline to meet the following NUS MBA application deadlines.
If you are self-motivated, have leadership potential, have strong previous educational proof, and want to study for a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), you are encouraged to apply.

Several scholarships are available for MBA degree applicants at the NUS, including the Asian Development Bank Scholarship, covering the full expenses of the entire study period as follows:
NUS Full-time MBA Scholarships and Awards Overview
- NUS MBA Excellence & Achiever Awards are for top full-time MBA applicants based on academic/professional achievements and leadership potential. Covers 20% or more of tuition fees.
- NUS MBA Local Scholarship: This scholarship is available to Singaporean full-time and part-time candidates based on academic/professional excellence and leadership.
- NUS MBA Scholarship for Women: For female candidates with strong leadership and commitment to women’s causes. Partial tuition coverage; open to full-time and part-time students.
- NUS MBA Entrepreneurship Scholarship: This scholarship is for candidates with entrepreneurship experience. It is open to full-time and part-time students and provides partial tuition coverage.
- NUS MBA Future Leaders Scholarship: This scholarship is for full-time MBA applicants with strong academic, professional, and leadership credentials. Covers 20% or more of tuition fees.
- NUS MBA Diversity Scholarship: This scholarship is for candidates from diverse backgrounds who want to enhance their MBA cohort’s experience. Partial tuition coverage is available to full-time students.
- NUS MBA Resilience Scholarship: This scholarship is for candidates who have shown resilience in overcoming challenges. It covers tuition partially or fully and is available to full-time students.
- NUS MBA ASEAN Scholarship: This scholarship is for full-time candidates from ASEAN countries (excluding Singapore). It is based on academic/professional background, leadership potential, and financial need.
- Dhanabalan Scholarship: For Singaporean/Permanent Resident full-time MBA candidates with financial need. Up to S$20,000 towards tuition.
- Derwin Pereira MBA Scholarship: This scholarship is for outstanding candidates from Singapore/Southeast Asia with strong academic credentials and financial needs. Awards S$25,000 for tuition.
- Lam See Chiew Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship is for candidates involved in social entrepreneurship, philanthropy, or non-profit work. It is open to full-time/part-time MBA and double-degree candidates.
- LPDP Indonesia Scholarships: Government-funded scholarships for Indonesian citizens to pursue master’s studies, covering full tuition and related costs at NUS.
- ADB-Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP): For candidates from ADB borrowing countries. Covers full tuition and some expenses. Requires a separate application.
- NUS APEC Scholarship: This scholarship covers candidates from APEC member countries (excluding Singapore), as well as full tuition, stipend, flight, and book allowances.

Part-time Scholarships:
The NUS Part-Time MBA Scholarship
The NUS Part-Time MBA Scholarship is available to outstanding candidates applying to the part-time MBA program. Selection is based on academic and professional achievements, a strong test score (GMAT, GRE, EA), application competitiveness, and leadership potential. The awards fund around 15% of the tuition fees.
The NUS MBA Local Scholarship
Full-time and part-time Singaporean candidates are eligible for the NUS MBA Local Scholarships, which are awarded based on the candidates’ academic and professional achievements, strong test scores (GMAT, GRE, EA), competitiveness of application, and leadership potential.
The NUS MBA Scholarship for Women
The NUS MBA Scholarship for Women is for exemplary women who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and commitment to advancing women-led causes. Applicants should possess strong academic performance and proven leadership capabilities and have positively impacted business and society. Recipients will actively work with the program team on outreach efforts to other female MBA aspirants. This scholarship is open to full-time and part-time MBA candidates and partially covers tuition.
The NUS MBA Entrepreneurship Scholarship
This scholarship is available to outstanding candidates with entrepreneurship experience. It is available to full-time and part-time MBA candidates and partially covers the tuition fee.
Lam See Chiew Memorial Scholarship in Social Entrepreneurship & Philanthropy
The Lam See Chiew Memorial Scholarship in Social Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy is open to all full- and part-time candidates in the NUS MBA and double degree MBA programs. Candidates are appraised based on their participation in social entrepreneurship ventures, philanthropy, or non-profit sectors or volunteer work in social outreach organizations for at least two years. To be considered for this scholarship, please submit your application by the Round 2 application deadline.
NUS Staff Concession
Full-time staff of NUS, NUS High School, and National University Health System with a minimum of 12 months of continuous employment at the time of application may apply for the NUS Staff Concession, which offers a 20% deduction of the total part-time MBA tuition fee (excludes acceptance fees). Students who receive a scholarship (excluding grants) do not qualify for the concession. The concession is directly deducted from the student’s tuition fee as long as the student remains a staff member of NUS.
The NUS MBA ESG Scholarship
This scholarship is available to outstanding candidates who have made great strides in Environmental, Social, and governance (ESG) issues. It is available to full-time and part-time MBA candidates and partially covers the tuition fee.
Requirements and Eligibility
Applicants for an MBA at the National University of Singapore should meet the following requirements:
- Provide at least two years of work experience after the undergraduate studies (full-time)
- Having a Strong previous study background (undergraduate) in any discipline from an accredited university
- Demonstrate language proficiency to prove their professional background. Like GMAT, GRE, TOEFL iBT with a minimum score of 100, and IELTS with a minimum score of 7.
- Good GMAT and GRE scores
- To apply for the Asian Development Bank Scholarship, you must meet all the ADB Scholarship eligibility requirements.
