The University Twente Scholarship (UTS) is a scholarship for outstanding students from non-EU/EEA countries who are applying to the University of Twente for a graduate degree (MSc).

The University of Twente Scholarships (UTS) Value
- € 3,000 – € 25,000 for one year. Students who applied for a two-year master’s program will receive the scholarship if they meet the requirements: a grade of 7 out of 10 and 50% of European credits in the third quartile of the first year.

UTS Eligibility Criteria
All applicants should meet the following eligibility criteria:
- The UT scholarship application is separate from the course entry; gain academic admission first.
- Provisionally admitted to a qualifying UT Master’s program for 2024/2025 (September).
- Results may take up to 8 weeks post-application completion.
- Must have a student number and not graduated from a UT program.
- Meet conditions for a Dutch entry visa (if applicable).
- Fulfill English language requirements: Academic IELTS 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT 90) with additional TOEFL iBT 20 on speaking subscore.
- Ineligible for a Dutch study loan.
- UT Scholarship is for the top 5-10% of students.
Who is not eligible for UTS?
University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) is not available for:
- Dutch and current UT students.
- EU/EEA students.
- Master’s programs at the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC).
- the pre-Master program; UTS pre-Master students cannot apply when transitioning to a Master program.
