Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet these requirements:

• Be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport.
• Be in good physical and mental health.
• Provide HSK Level 5 or above (or proof of studying in a Chinese-medium high school).
• Age must be under 30 by September 1, 2026.
• Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent by July 2026.
• Applicants who are emigrants from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan must obtain foreign citizenship before April 30, and live abroad for at least 2 years between April 30, 2021, and April 30, 2025.
• Cannot have other Chinese scholarships or funds for the 2025-2026 academic year.
