The Journalist of the Year Award, launched in 2020, celebrates outstanding young journalists making a positive impact through their work. For 2025, three winners will be honored at the One Young World Summit in Munich, Germany (3-6 November 2025). An international panel will select the winners based on their contributions to journalism and their impact on youth and communities.
In today’s world of mass information and misinformation, journalism’s core values—truthfulness and objectivity—are crucial. One Young World recognizes that young journalists play a key role in driving change, defending rights, and ensuring freedom of speech globally.
