Opportunity Description
Netherlands Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) scholarship is offered to individuals and organizations from OKP supporting countries to enhance their education through short courses and master’s degree programs. Mid-career professionals who meet the requirements can apply to the OKP scholarship.
Location: Netherlands
Application rounds:
- First Round: 3 February – 23 March 2021 (for courses starting between 26 July and 21 November 2021)
- Second Round: 12 May-29 June 2021 (for Short Courses starting between 22 November 2021 and 20 February 2022)
- Third Round: 1 September-12 October 2021 (for Short Courses starting on or after 21 February 2022 and ending before 31 August 2022)

Fields of study:
- All available courses about 600 programs Search the course on study finder, the following fields of study are specified for Afghanistan:
- Rule of Law and anti-corruption human rights, peace, security, and social progress, including gender equality and women’s rights, water management, agriculture economic development.
Scholarship coverage: OKP provides a salary to support the student in tuition fees, travel costs, visas, insurance, etc. the student covers the difference between actual cost and OKP scholarship.
Duration of scholarship:
- Short course duration: 2 weeks to 12 months
- Master degree program duration: 12 months – 24 months
Who can apply?
- Be a citizen, working and living at the OKP country list (mentioned below)
- Be professional and currently working
- Not be employed in a multinational organization
- Have the employers statement that complies with the format of NUFFIC
- Have an official passport
