Title: Holland Scholarship for Afghanistan and other Non-European Countries

The NL Scholarship (formerly Holland Scholarship Program) is a unique opportunity for international students who are from countries outside the European union and want to start their Bachelor’s or Master’s studies in the Netherlands. The Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science, as well as universities of applied sciences and Dutch research universities, fund this scholarship. The application for 2024 will open in November. Applicants interested in pursuing their studies in the Netherlands are encouraged to read the scholarship details below, prepare their documents and get ready to apply when the application is open.

Benefits of Holland scholarship:

The fund provided by the scholarship sums up to € 5,000, which you will receive in the first year of your studies.

Important Details:

• This is not a fully-funded scholarship
• The grant is only for the first year (which may or may not cover your whole classes of that one year)

Eligibility:

• Have the nationality of a country other than the European Economic Area (EEA).
• Must be applying/have applied to an undergraduate or graduate at one Netherlands institution.
• Be able to attend all of your classes, which means you are a full-time student.
• Meet the requirement of your program of choice at your desired university. Check with your preferred choice of university to see what are other requirements
• You must not have any degree from any institution in the Netherlands.
