Opportunity Description
Goethe Institute offers Films Talents program – Voices from Pakistan and Afghanistan for young filmmakers in Pakistan and Afghanistan to participate in mentorship program. The program is funded by Prince Clause Fund and contains series of workshops that will take place in Pakistan in 2019 and 2020 to help young film makers to bridge the gap between formal education in film and media and actual production of film in the field and help them tackle the challenges they face.
Afghan and/or Pakistan nationals who are the final year student of film, art, or multimedia or recently graduated in those fields can apply to this unique opportunity. The Award winning filmmakers Sabiha Sumar and till Passow and other mentors and trainers will train the film makers in developing the skills in film project, screenwriting, implementation of idea, producing a trailer and pitching and presenting their project.

Benefits:
selected applicants from Afghanistan and other cities of Pakistan will be offered:

- seed funding for short film projects

who can apply?
- be nationals of Afghanistan or Pakistan
- Be final year student or recent graduates in the fields of film, art, or multimedia
- Have a proven track record related to film making either through education and / or trainings
