Nowadays, millions of children around the world are deprived of access to education due to disability – robbing them of their potential and weakening our society. Here, you will understand what barriers there are to learning and how to tackle them. In six weeks, you will learn from a number of people with a disability experience, exploring practical ways to prepare a more inclusive learning atmosphere that you can apply in your own area.

1. Judith McKenzie

Judith is a professor and researcher in Disability Studies at the University of Cape Town. She has worked in rural areas concentrating mainly on community based and interdisciplinary projects.

2. Chioma Ohajunwa

She has a B.Ed in Special Education, MPhil in Disability Studies, and is presently working on her Ph.D. Chioma has worked in the disability area in Nigeria, Liberia, and South Africa.
