Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet these requirements:

• You cannot nominate yourself.
• The nominee must be aware of and permit the nomination.
• Sufficient examples of the nominee’s work must be provided (preferably at least three pieces).
• For the Newcomer of the Year category, the nominee must have been active as a journalist for a maximum of three years.

Selection Process

An independent panel of international experts will judge nominations. The panel will assess the nominees based on their work’s quality and impact and commitment to press freedom and independent information.

• Gather sufficient examples of the nominee’s work (at least three pieces).
