Zhejiang University (ZJU) is one of China’s top higher education institutions, as well as one of its oldest with its founding dating back to 1897 and the founding of the Qiushi Academy.

The university is in  Hangzhou_ China’s most picturesque cities _ and consists of seven faculties and 37 schools. Moreover, it is home to 3,741 full-time faculty members, including 46 members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering. ZJU has 54,641 students, over 53% of whom are postgraduate students.
