Are you a young advocate or innovator driving change in your community? Do you want to bring your perspective to the United Nations and shape global human rights initiatives? The Youth4Rights Advisory Group, launched by the UN Human Rights Office (OHCHR), is now accepting applications for its 2026-2027 cohort—and this is your chance to step onto the global stage.
As part of the Global Alliance for Human Rights, this advisory group connects 12 dynamic young leaders from around the world to ensure youth voices are at the center of public debate. The initiative builds toward the 80th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 2028. By joining, you will work alongside international leaders, develop youth engagement efforts, and directly influence UN human rights strategies.

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Youth4Rights Advisory Group, you must meet all of the following requirements:
Age Limit
You must be between 18 and 28 years old as of 12 August 2026.
Experience
You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience contributing to the advancement of human rights or a related cause at the local or national level. Human rights specific expertise is not strictly required. The call is open to a variety of young people, including advocates, entrepreneurs, and innovators.
Language Requirements
You must possess a working-level proficiency in English.
