Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible to apply for this opportunity, your entity must meet the following criteria:
Eligible Organizations
- Must be a Civil Society Organization (CSO) or a Youth Group.
- Applications from underrepresented groups and initiatives are particularly encouraged.
Ineligible Organizations
International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs) are specifically excluded from this opportunity.
Host Responsibilities
Successful candidates who are awarded a side meeting slot will be responsible for:
- Creating a feasible session concept, defining the exact topic, and identifying the target audience.
- Managing speaker and participant outreach in a timely manner.
- Ensuring all invited participants are registered for the main WHS 2026 conference.
- Submitting a two-page report on the content, key learnings, and impact of the event to the WHS Foundation by the end of 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if there are more qualified applications than available slots?
If more fitting applications are submitted than the three available side meeting slots, the World Health Summit will use a lottery system to determine the recipient organizations. Decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
Does the World Health Summit cover flights and hotels?
No. The WHS does not provide travel or accommodation funding. Your organization is responsible for covering the travel costs of your organizers, speakers, and participants.

Is there a penalty if we need to cancel our side meeting?
