The application for United World College (UWC) Global Selection program (GSP) is open for students from all countries to study in the Netherlands, Canada, Thailand, Dubai or San Jose, Costa Rica.  Applicants who wish to apply 9-12 months before the start of the school year can apply to UWC global selection program.

Applicants should pay the full fee once they are accepted. There Scholarships available for students who need scholarship to attend UWC. Applicants in need of scholarship should take a look at UWC national committee entry route

Program period: September 2020- January 2021

Global selection weekends:

• Amsterdam – the Netherlands: October 26-27, 2019
• San Jose, Costa Rica: November 16-17, 2019
• Dubai, UAE: November 23-24, 2019
• Bangkok, Thailand: November 30- December 1, 2019
• Toronto, Canada: January 28-29, 2020

Eligibility:

In order to determine your eligibility, you need to provide your personal information including Name, Birth date, Nationality, Contact information. Eligible applicants will be sent a confirmation email to begin their email.

How to apply?

After receiving, confirmation email, you need fill the following sections:

• Schools and college preferences
• Application form: including 6 essay questions with maximum 300 words and five essay questions with a maximum 600 words.(Application form)
• Two reference letters (One academic and one non-academic)
• Two most recent school reports
• Explanation of the grading system that is used on your reports
• Parent authorization form
• GSP application fee ($200 or 160 GBP)

You can submit your application while waiting for your references and parents’ authorization to be submitted.

Your application will be reviewed within two weeks and we will notify you by email if you have been shortlisted to attend one of the Global Selection Weekends.

Selected applicants will be invited to one of the Global selection days. It is important to participate in the selection day and the day itself will be a great experience for you.
