Background

The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) has designed a curriculum that sees a brighter future through diplomacy. Within this curriculum, it has launched the Global Diplomacy Initiative to enable students to listen to and explore international relations and politics from those who are currently working in these areas. This initiative is part of UNITAR’s training and capacity development in the thematic areas of the 2030 Agenda. Therefore, if you find yourself fit for this program, do apply for it.

Program content and structure

The Global Diplomacy Initiative Program consists of 3-hour courses, conducted once a week for 2 months and three times a year namely spring, summer and fall. These courses will be taught by eminent Ambassadors and top UN Officials.

Who can apply?

The target audience for this program is delegates to the United Nations, national change representatives and students who are currently pursuing a degree in Political Science, International Relations, Urban Affairs, or similar academic programs ranging from the undergraduate level to any Masters/Graduate Program.

Research students can also apply.
