Opportunity Description

The Society of Architectural Historians (SAH) accepts applications for its Research Fellowship Program 2023. Emerging scholars worldwide with a terminal master’s or Ph.D. degree can apply for this opportunity on or after June 01, 2018. Also, the applicants must not have enrolled in a program or applied for further studies for the duration of the fellowship.

The SAH IDEAS Research Fellowships is to support a cohort of emerging scholars who are members of historically marginalized people by SAH and the academy at large.

These fellowships intend to nurture research that challenges existing paradigms, as defined by applicants. Also, these awards represent previously under-recognized or unsupported directions for architectural history as researched. In addition to providing research support, the fellowships offer mentored cohorts to support the work of emerging scholars.
