Scholarship Opportunities

Who can apply?
This master’s program is exclusively designed for outstanding international students. To be considered for admission, applicants must meet the following strict criteria:
- Nationality: You must not hold Chinese nationality and must possess a valid ordinary passport (valid beyond March 31, 2027).
- Academic Background: You must have acquired a Bachelor’s degree or above. Graduating students may provide a Certificate of Expected Graduation (expected before August 31, 2026).
- Language Proficiency: You must have a good command of English. Required scores are IELTS Academic 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 90. Native English speakers or applicants whose previous degree was taught entirely in English are exempt from providing these test scores.
- General Status: You must be physically and mentally healthy, have no criminal record, and be subject to the additional nationality regulations of the Ministry of Education of the PRC.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
If my previous degree was taught in English, do I still need to take the IELTS or TOEFL? No. Applicants who have completed or are currently pursuing a degree where the primary medium of instruction is English are exempt from submitting formal IELTS or TOEFL test scores.
Are there different deadlines depending on the scholarship I want? Yes. If you are applying for the Chinese Government Scholarship (Type B: High-level Program), you must complete your application in the RUC system by February 15, 2026.
