Opportunity Description
Journalists, activists, academics, and practitioners, and other applicants can apply to the Open society fellowship program. Open Society Foundation is offering Open society Fellowship to support the eligible successful applicants who are “idea entrepreneurs” from around the world. The fellowship supports the fellows to work on their project in the theme of Ownership, Governance, entrepreneurship, financialization using the Open Society foundation resources.

Benefits and Supports
The Fellowship will provide:
- a stipend of $80,000 or $100,000 based on the fellow’s work experience, profession, and salary.
- A project budget to cover travel costs, visa cost, part-time research assistance, conference fees and etc.
Note: the fellowship does not support operational costs and degree or non-degree studies
Eligibility
- Be a resident of any country from around the world
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of their major theme proposed.
- Eager to use open society foundation resources and establish networking with OSF global network.
- Demonstrate the English Language proficiency

Application documents
- Applicants need to prepare a one – to two page letter of inquiry that answer the following questions:
- What is the central argument of your proposed project as it relates to the proposition?
- How does your project advance or challenge current thinking?
- Who is/are the intended audience/s?
- What are the potential work products?

Applicants need to submit the letter of inquiry online. After six weeks shortlisted inquiries will be notified to submit the full proposal.
