Opportunity Description
Knight Science Journalism Fellowship program at MIT is a fully-funded golden fellowship opportunity for journalists who are specialized in science, health, technology, and environmental reporting. During this short course, the applicants will spend one-year research around MIT, Harvard, and other institutions in Cambridge and Greater Boston.
The applicants will engage with coursework, colloquia, research trips, etc. during this academic journey, and it is expected to complete their research by using available resources and connections.

Eligibilities:
- Must work as a full-time journalist or as a volunteer or as an employee. (part-time experience will not be accepted).
- Must have three years of work experience in the following areas: science, technology, the environment, or medicine.
- Those applicants who are working/have worked for media including newspapers, magazines, television, radio, and digital media, must be a reporter, writers, editors, producers, illustrators, filmmakers or photojournalists.
- Must be proficient in the English language (TOEFL, etc.)
Important documents:
- Professional autobiography about 500 words or less, explain the reason for participating, and how the fellowship helps you to achieve your professional goals.
- Update CV (including the overview of work experience, educational background, with their dates, place, story, publication date, or broadcast.)
- Research proposal about 500 words or less.
- Five samples of work
- Three recommendation letters from someone who knows you clearly and familiar with your ability and qualifications.
