A Three-months fellowship opportunity is offered for those applicants who wish to learn more skills and new experience, this opportunity will help those young ophthalmologists who are interested to do practical works in a related area, applicants from developing countries and want to peruse research in Uveitis diagnosis and therapy are highly encouraged to take part and come back to their home country with acquired knowledge and skills.

host institute: The fellowship will take place at an institute of IUSG members.

Deadline: 30 September 2021

Prize: $6000

The prize will cover:

• Living expenses
• Traveling cost

Eligibilities:

• Applicants must complete the residency training before applying for the fellowship
• Must pass the ophthalmology exam successfully (Master of Surgery, Diploma of National Board, etc.), the achieved certificate must be in English or French
• Applicant’s age must be under 40 years
• applicants must return back to their home country after completing the fellowship
• must meet the language requirements of the fellowship training center
• must be able to pass one or more than one ICO exam which will be checked during the application evaluation
• applicants who are from countries with ophthalmologic societies will be preferred

note: those applicants who want to apply for the second time are not eligible.

• Recommendation letter from the current chair’s recommendation and residency (DOC file, 80 KB)
• Previous recommendation letter from your supervisor of Chair’s (DOC file, 80 KB)
