Are you an educator passionate about promoting peace and global citizenship? The Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU) invites you to the 9th Global Capacity-Building Workshop on Global Citizenship Education (GCED). This online workshop, themed “Empowering Educators for a Culture of Peace through GCED,” is designed to provide educators with the knowledge and tools to create a more just and peaceful world.
Why You Should Attend:
- Learn the latest principles and methodologies of GCED.
- – Gain practical skills to implement GCED and foster peace in your community.
- – Connect with educators, policymakers, and stakeholders from around the world.
- – Participate in a 6-week mentorship program (September – October) for selected participants.
- -The workshop is free for selected candidates.
Workshop Structure:
- Module 1: Deepen your understanding of GCED and the 2023 UNESCO Recommendations.
- Module 2: Embrace transformative pedagogies and develop effective GCED curricula.
- Module 3: Create personalized action plans for local GCED initiatives.
