Are you an educator passionate about promoting peace and global citizenship? The Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU) invites you to the 9th Global Capacity-Building Workshop on Global Citizenship Education (GCED). This online workshop, themed “Empowering Educators for a Culture of Peace through GCED,” is designed to provide educators with the knowledge and tools to create a more just and peaceful world.

 Why You Should Attend:

• Learn the latest principles and methodologies of GCED.
• –  Gain practical skills to implement GCED and foster peace in your community.
• –  Connect with educators, policymakers, and stakeholders from around the world.
• –  Participate in a 6-week mentorship program (September – October) for selected participants.
• -The workshop is free for selected candidates.

 Workshop Structure:

1. Module 1: Deepen your understanding of GCED and the 2023 UNESCO Recommendations.
2. Module 2: Embrace transformative pedagogies and develop effective GCED curricula.
3. Module 3: Create personalized action plans for local GCED initiatives.

Educators from Official Development Assistance (ODA) recipient countries with at least three years of experience can apply to  9th Global Capacity-Building Workshop on GCED listed here:
