World Wildlife Fund (WWF) provides an internship opportunity to hire a new employee in the field of Freshwater Research Intern to assess basin health report cards. In addition, the internship responsibility is to review and compile basin health indicators and associated methods for data analysis. Position title: basin health report cards

Location: Washington, DC, USA

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Evaluate at least pules 300 indicators that will use in basin health report cards over the 20 years.
  • Categorize these indicators into significant categories and determine groups of broadly.
  • Record the data requirement and information on thresholds.
  • Provide a summary report that includes guidance on methods for analyses and process common groups of indicators.

Competencies and minimum qualifications:

  • Be able to work at least 20 hours per week.
  • Advance technical research and analytic skills.
  • Strong statistical analysis skill is preferable.
  • Have a degree or working through water quality, watershed management, freshwater ecology, or related field.
  • Strong English skills, both communication, and writing.
  • Details attention.
  • Excellent ability in management and self-motivation.
