Opportunity Description
The Eliza Moore Fellowship for Artistic Excellence supports one outstanding early-career artist annually, providing a $10,000 grant and a 2–5 week residency at Oak Spring Garden Foundation (OSGF). Open to visual artists, literary artists, dancers, and musicians, this fellowship is for those exploring themes of plants, gardens, or landscapes in their work.
During the residency, the Fellow will engage with OSGF staff, explore the 700-acre landscape, visit the rare book library, and participate in optional communal activities. Fellows have the freedom to focus on their work while immersing themselves in Oak Spring’s unique environment.
While a 20–30 minute presentation at the end of the residency is encouraged, it is not required. This is a rare opportunity for artists to advance their practice in a setting dedicated to nature and creativity.
