Afghan applicants who are seeking to develop their research and data analysis skills can apply to this free training program for duration of 12 days and total 36 hours of training.
Target: practitioners and researchers from:
- Afghan government agencies
- Civil society
- Think tanks
- Academic institutions
Medium of instruction: Dari, but English terminologies will also be used as a part of the program
Duration: 12 days
Class days: two days / per week
Time: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Training hours per day: 3 hours
Result announcement: December 17, 2018
Start of the course: December 23, 2018
Requirement to apply?
- Have basic knowledge of statistics
- Experience of working with quantitative data
- Strong motivation to use Stata in their profession or workplace.
Content(outline) of the program;
- Data management
- Data visualization
- Data analysis including preparing data for analysis, summarizing data in terms of tables and statistical graphs, descriptive statistic and introduction to inferential statistics
