About the Contest

If you are from OIC member country and want display your skills in writing the story, you can apply to the 1^st short story contest, organized by ICYF-DC.

The Islamic Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation (ICYF-DC) with Organization of Islamic Cooperation organize an international program of film festival and short story contest.

Time: December 19, 2017

Place: Shiraz, Iran

Deadline for application: December 1, 2017

Application: free of charge

Certificate: available

Benefit:The accommodation and round trip tickets of  the final winners’ will be covered.

Awards:

• The First story : $1000 Cash prize
• The 2^nd story: $700 cash prize
• The 3^rd story: $500 cash prize

Eligibility:

Age: between 18-35

Be young person of OIC member countries ( Afghanistan is one the members)

Story eligibility

The story should meet the following requirements:

• Written in English
• Word limit: up to 1500 words
• Typed in Microsoft word ( font: Times New Roman (Headings CS ) , Size: 14)
• Should be sent in DOC file format and via icyf.story@gmail.com
• You should complete the participation application form and attach it to your email.

• Subjects of Peace and Human-Moral Values constitute the salient and main axes of the festival.
