The Diamond Challenge 2026 invites young innovators from any country to transform their passions into business or social ventures. This global entrepreneurship competition offers a $100,000 prize pool, empowering students to create, pitch, and grow their ideas on an international stage.
Organized by Horn Entrepreneurship at the University of Delaware (USA), the Diamond Challenge provides free educational resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities. Participants learn to turn creative ideas into viable solutions as they compete through three rounds culminating at the Limitless World Summit in April 2026.
Open to high school students worldwide, this challenge is more than a competition—it’s a journey to develop entrepreneurial skills, connect with like-minded peers, and make an impact. With business innovation and social innovation tracks, every idea has the potential to inspire real change.

Prizes
The three winning teams will receive a prize as follows to advance their entrepreneurial journeys:
- 1st Place: $12,000
- 2nd Place: $8,000
- 3rd Place: $4,500
- Topical awards also recognize innovation in sustainability, technology, and community impact.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following requirments:
- Teams must include 2–4 high school students (ages 14–18) and one adult advisor (21+ years old).
- Only one advisor can be listed in the official submission, though multiple may assist.
- Each student may join only one team and submit one concept per year.
- Provide contact information (including emails) for all team members and the advisor.
- Upon submission, teams must select:
- Competition Track:
- Business Innovation – focuses on solving customer problems for profit.
- Social Innovation – aims to solve social or environmental challenges.
- Pitch Round Format:
- Live Pitch Event – present in-person at a partner-hosted event.
- Virtual/Pre-recorded – submit pitch deck and video online.
- Teams must not disclose school names unless essential to their concept.
- Only original concepts created by team members are allowed; external contributors must be disclosed.
- Concepts must have generated less than $100,000 in total revenue before submission.
- Previously finalist concepts (those that reached the Summit) cannot be resubmitted.
Submission Round
Two components required:
- Written Concept Narrative (3–5 pages)

- Explains problem, target users, solution, unique value, business model, team, and progress.
- English only, 12-pt font, double-spaced, 1-inch margins, submitted as PDF.

- Introductory Video (max 60 seconds)
- Introduce team, concept, and problem/solution.
- Submit as a public URL; over time, or inaccessible videos are disqualified.
- Judges evaluate submissions to determine advancement to the Pitch Round.
- Incomplete or rule-breaking entries may be excluded.
- All submissions are final once uploaded.
Pitch Round
- Teams select the live or virtual/pre-recorded format during the initial submission; no changes are allowed later.
- Failure to compete forfeits eligibility.
Live Pitch Event
- 5-minute pitch, recommended ≤15 slides.
- 3-minute Q&A with judges (only pitching members may answer).
- Props, visuals, and prototypes allowed; manage your own tech needs.
- Technical issues don’t pause timing.
Virtual/Pre-Recorded Pitch
- 5-minute video pitch (public URL required).
- Submit a PDF pitch deck (≤15 slides).
- The deck must appear visibly in the video.
- Judged only in this round; finalists can update decks later.
- All submissions are final once uploaded.
Limitless World Summit (Final Round)
- In-person attendance required (at least one member).
- Visa-related absences may be eligible for a one-year deferment.
- 5-minute pitch + 3-minute Q&A, max 15-slide Google Slides deck (public link).
- Decks may be updated before pitching if the link remains the same.
- Only student members can present or handle materials.
- Props and handouts count toward pitch time and must be retrieved afterward.
- Tech issues don’t stop timing—be ready to adapt.
- Prizes are distributed to registered ventures or are equally split among members
