To build sustainable peace in Afghanistan, the women inclusion in every stage of peace process is necessary.  the N Peace price will be awarded to support the women groups inclusion in the process of Peace.

Civil society organizations which are facilitating dialogue on gender equality and the peace process, using emerging technologies to advocate for women’s inclusion in the peace process,  linking women’s group from the diverse background to support the Afghanistan peace process , or provides mentorship and training for capacity building of women networks involved in peace talks through international think tanks.

Eligibility

Civil society organizations that are fully competent in the following areas are eligible:

• Have legal status in Afghanistan
• Have not-for-profit mandate, a clear organizational structure and is sharing UNDPs principles of human development.
• Have clear constituency and proof of partnerships with other CSOs, private sector or governments
• Have the capacity (technical, managerial, administrative and financial) for project management
