Sanger Institute Prize Competition is accepting the application from undergraduate students who are from low- and middle-income countries. The Institute will provide a three-month internship for the winning applicants.
Description:
We are thrilled that the Sanger Institute Prize Competition announces this award again. Are you interested to further your knowledge of genomes and in particular to play a substantial role in the sequencing and interpretation of the human genome? This information will underpin research on human biology and diseases in this century and beyond.

Eligibility criteria:
- Applicant’s age must be over 18 years old.
- Applicants must be from low-and middle-income countries including Afghanistan and other countries.
- Applicant must study in low- and middle-income countries
- Must be interested in research genomic fields
- Must be proficient in English
Application process:
Follow the steps below to apply for this competition:
- fill an application form and then write your scientific interest and mentioning why you want to apply
- They will be asked to provide two reference
- Finally, selected students will be asked to write an essay on a given title (will send by email).
- The outcome will be announced by judges at the end of April 2020.
