Opportunity Description
Apply to the Society of Architectural Historians (SAH) Research Fellowship Program for 2026 if you are a new scholar who completed your master’s or PhD in 2020 or later and are not currently enrolled in any academic program. The SAH IDEAS Research Fellowships aim to assist a group of new scholars who belong to historically marginalized communities in the field of architectural history. These fellowships are designed to encourage research that challenges established norms, as defined by the applicants. The awards also aim to recognize and support research directions in architectural history that have been previously overlooked or not well-supported. In addition to offering research assistance, the fellowships provide mentorship to support the work of emerging scholars.
