Organization Description

A public university having a campus in Lucerne, Switzerland is called the University of Lucerne. The institution has 1,460 undergraduates and 1,258 graduate students, making it the smallest university in Switzerland.

It has a number of international reputations despite its size. For instance, despite its prohibition against hiring Jewish scholars, the Institute for Jewish-Christian Research has grown in stature.[3] Philosophy and theology courses have been taught in the city since the city’s founding in the early seventeenth century. The department of history was created on August 1, 1989, as opposed to the faculty of theology, which was founded in 1938. The faculty of humanities was founded in 1993. The University of Lucerne was created in 2000 as a result of a democratic vote.
