Save the Children is a non-governmental and non-political international organization that works to improve and save the lives of children worldwide. Furthermore, SCI is helping children get a better education; it makes it possible for more boys and girls to attend schools; it helps children protect themselves and influence their own conditions. Finally, it works with families, communities, and health workers in homes, clinics, and hospitals to promote basic health in order to save the lives of children and mothers.
