Organization Description

Muhammad Ali and his wife Lonnie co-founded The Muhammad Ali Center, a 501(c)3 organization, in Louisville, Kentucky, where they both grew up. The international cultural center offers programming and events focused on education, gender equity, and global citizenship in addition to promoting Muhammad Ali’s six core principles (confidence, conviction, dedication, giving, respect, and spirituality) in ways that encourage individual and planetary greatness. Its most recent effort, Generation Ali, cultivates a new generation of leaders who will make meaningful contributions to their communities and transform the globe. The Center’s main office has an award-winning museum exhibit.
