The International Center for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) is an intergovernmental knowledge and learning center that working through development and shares research, information and innovations to equip the individuals in the member countries such as Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, Pakistan, and Nepal. Moreover, ICIMOD provides information and knowledge generation and sharing to find out innovative solutions to critical mountain challenges. Additionally, the ICIMOD believes in a future where the region’s mountain people can experience enhanced livelihoods, equity, and social and environmental security. Besides, the ICIMOD vision is enabling sustainable and resilient mountain development to develop and equip livelihoods based on knowledge and regional coordination.
