Athens photo world  Yannis Behrakis international photojournalism Award 2019  is a competition for international professional photojournalism with cash prize with the donation of Stavros Niarchos Foundation.

Interested candidates can submit their photos for winning the provided prize.

• Successful projects will be able to candidates at the next year’s festival at an individual exhibition of the photography.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be a professional photographer
• Candidates must be submitted their photos or projects from 2016 to 2019 for evaluation
• Candidates must have classified their projects as a “reportage” or “documentary”.
• Candidates must send their photographic project at 72dpi and 2000pixels on the large side, with captions, written in English, in the file info field.
• Candidates are required to write a story or text for supporting their projects about 250 words.
• Do not subject to alterations or any kind of digital manipulation other than cropping and basic exposure, contrast, and luminance correction.
• Candidates must send their photos in the zip file and named the file with their own name, file number. See the example: Giorgos_Papadopoulos_01.jpeg
• The successful candidate for the final round needs to provide the RAW image files as delivered by the Camera
• The successful candidates will be required to provide the original file size (unless cropped) in 300 dpi.
• The proof of professional engagement must be provided by the successful candidates.
• Candidates must proof that, they are the owner of submitted photos
• Candidates must give permission for the organizers to use one of their photos for the competition.

Note: the submitted photo will not be used for any other propose.

• Interested candidates must submit a portfolio up to 24 photographs
• The submitted photo must be created within the last 3 years.
